FXTRADING.com may request two-factor authentication (2FA) or another security verification before allowing a sensitive account action. The method shown depends on the security options linked to your profile and the action being performed.
Actions that may require security verification
signing in from a new location or device;
adding or changing payment or payout information;
changing a mobile number or email address;
changing or resetting a Client Portal password;
requesting a withdrawal or eligible transfer;
changing the security method; and
linking an authentication app.
Deposits, withdrawals and transfers can also depend on profile verification, account eligibility and transaction-specific checks. Complete the verification or security task displayed in the Client Portal.
Available verification methods
Depending on your profile, the Client Portal may offer a code sent to a verified email address or mobile number, a supported authentication app, a push approval or another identity-verification step.
Authentication-app codes are generated on the registered device and can work without mobile-message delivery. Keep recovery information and registered contact details current.
When Authenticator app is offered, FXTRADING.com strongly recommends setting it up in advance because it generates codes locally and reduces dependence on Email or SMS delivery. This is preventive setup, not an immediate workaround for a code that is currently missing or delayed; the active method may still be required to confirm a change. A Passkey can be used for sign-in and may also be offered for 2FA when enabled for your profile and displayed in the current flow.
If you do not receive a code
confirm that you selected the intended verification method;
check the registered email inbox and spam folder or the mobile network signal;
wait for the resend period shown before requesting another code;
check that the authentication app time is synchronised; and
use the recovery option displayed if the registered method is unavailable.
Never disclose a password, authentication-app code or one-time verification code.
