The first Demo Account created automatically by the system always uses USD as its base currency and starts with USD 10,000 in virtual funds. When you create additional Demo Accounts, you can select your preferred base currency from the available options. Every new Demo Account starts with 10,000 units of virtual funds in its selected base currency, regardless of the currency selected. The initial virtual balance is assigned by the system; there is no field to choose the amount during account creation.
How do I create an additional Demo Account?
Log in to your Client Portal.
Select Accounts from the left navigation menu.
Select Open New Account.
Choose the account type you want to use, then select Continue.
Set Account type to Demo.
Choose the trading platform, base currency and leverage, then enter an account nickname and trading password.
Select Create Account.
Your Demo Account will appear under Accounts → Demo accounts. Its virtual funds have no real monetary value and are intended for practising with the trading platform.
