Understanding Demo Account Funding Delays

Find out why a new USD Demo Account may temporarily show a zero balance instead of its default USD 10,000 in virtual funds, and what to do next.

The first Demo Account created automatically by the system always uses USD as its base currency and starts with USD 10,000 in virtual funds. When you create additional Demo Accounts, you can select your preferred base currency from the available options. Every new Demo Account starts with 10,000 units of virtual funds in its selected base currency, regardless of the currency selected. If it initially shows a zero balance, the funding process may still be completing.

Why might the balance show zero?

A temporary zero balance can occur because of account-creation volume, data synchronisation or current system capacity.

What should I do?

  • Virtual funds are added after the platform completes the request. Timing depends on current system capacity and status. Refresh the account and check the displayed balance and status; if the balance still does not update, contact Customer Support with the account type, platform and a screenshot of the current status.

  • Refresh the Accounts page and check the relevant card under Demo accounts.

  • Do not create repeated Demo Accounts solely because the balance has not appeared yet.

If the balance still shows zero after this period, open Service Hub from the left navigation menu in the Client Portal and select Create a Ticket. Include the Demo Account number and a screenshot of the balance shown.
